here's my Seattle skirt, you can kind of see the messed up zipper in the side view one.
































And here's the dress that turned into a skirt... I still have to fix the waistband so it's a little bunchy.

    the black skirt has a really nice drape. the high waist of the seattle skirt is very cute i like it more as a dress than just a skirt too. any ideas for the zipper? buttons might be cute... they look great on you

    i'm thinking about just totally starting it over. i messed up the waist part of it so it's super tight and the whole zipper fiasco too. I'll probably try to redo the zipper and maybe get one that blends in better with the fabric (the one i used was white). i just ordered a dress form today so hopefully that'll make life easier.

    where did you order the dress form from and what size is it?
    oh and i forgot about sam and the button thing haha maybe a pink or matching blue zipper would be cute if its going to be exposed? i'm so jealous the dress form will make fitting/ adjusting so much easier.
